Mike Fisher

Mike Fisher is a singer, songwriter, and multi-instrumentalist from New Jersey. A staple of the Philly/South Jersey music scene since the early '00s, Mike played in various local groups for nearly twenty years before he began writing, releasing and performing his own original music. Spanning roughly the past half-decade, Mike has released two full-length LPs and a handful of EPs, each of them filled to bursting with hummable melodies that waste no time worming their way into listeners' ears — and maybe even their hearts <3

As a songwriter, Mike's style is best described as quirky-yet-approachable. Inspired by the everyman wit of Adam Schlesinger, the lo-fi wisdom of Robert Pollard, and the jangly melodies of Lennon–McCartney, Mike's songs are hook-centric and upbeat. Nary a word or chord is wasted in the endless pursuit of pure pop, and as a consequence Mike's songs are as straightforward as they are damn catchy. Balancing the dry humor of his lyrics with a sincere delivery, Mike Fisher makes guitar-based pop music for lovers of head-bopping, foot-tapping, can't-get-it-out-of-your-head songcraft.
